| My love of quilts started when I went to my first quilt show when I was a little girl. I still have the first quilt I bought 14 years ago when I met my husband which to this day is still on our bed. All of my children received a special quilt when they were born and still use them today to keep them warm when they are watching tv. My husband actually got the idea rolling in my head to make quilts out of baby clothes. I kept saving so many tubs of the kids clothes in the attic that my husband said we just have no room left for anything else. I didn't want to get rid of them so I came up with the idea to make a quilt using the clothes. This way I was able to look at them and remember all of the memories. The quilts are so special and will be treasured forever.

| Many people have asked why my jewelry designs focus on pearls. I’ve always had a love for, and fascination with, pearls. You can call it a true affinity. Pearls are a true wonder of nature. And, as any woman who has a set of pearls knows, receiving your first set is truly a moment worth remembering.Creating beautiful pieces of jewelry and knowing the pleasure people experience from receiving, giving and wearing them is a true joy.

| My journey began when I started designing and creating pearl bracelets for family and friends in 2004. Everyone loved them and started asking me to make them for others so they could give them as gifts. I received such a great response that I knew I had to take my hobby to another level. Thus, HannahBella & Jake was born.
