We use only genuine cultured freshwater Grade A pearls. (For more information on pearls see our About Pearls page.) We use genuine Swarovski™ Crystals, and sterling silver beads, charms and clasps. On some of our adult selections we use 14K white gold clasps. Our jewelry is made using 49 strand nylon coated stainless steel wire, which is professional grade wire.

2) How do I know what size to purchase?

All of our jewelry is custom made to order, so to avoid resizing charges, please measure before ordering. You can measure a wrist using a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and then adding ½ inch to the measurement. If you’re unable to measure, use our sizing guide. Please be aware that each person is unique and these sizes are to be used only as a guideline.

3) What if I order the wrong size?

If you are concerned that you might be ordering the wrong size, or that your child will quickly outgrow the jewelry, consider ordering one of the pieces with a lobster clasp that includes an extender. Also, HannahBella & Jake offers a restringing service where we will increase the size, while keeping the integrity of the design, for a restringing fee of $10 plus shipping. You can also take advantage of this service in the unlikely event that your jewelry breaks. Simply send us all of the pearls and beads and we will restring the piece for you.If beads or pearls are missing, a replacement fee will be charged for the pearls or beads that are missing.

4) Is it safe for my child to wear jewelry?

Our jewelry contains small parts. Children should always be supervised while wearing any piece of jewelry. Our products are constructed with the utmost care but any piece of jewelry has the ability to break. Children should never be left unattended or allowed to go to sleep while wearing jewelry.

5) How do I care for my pearl jewelry?

Please see our Caring for Pearls section. To keep your sterling silver clasps and beads looking beautiful you should buff them periodically with a jewelry cloth because sterling silver has a tendency to tarnish over time.

7) How long will it take for me to receive my jewelry?

All of our jewelry are hand crafted creations, custom made to order. We do not keep our products “in stock.” You can expect to have your purchase shipped to you within 3-5 business days. We ship using the USPS and charge a flat rate of $5.00, which can be increased if you wish to receive your purchase faster.

8) What payment options do you offer?

We currently accept payment through Pay Pal. This is a secure and easy to use service. You do not need to have an account with Pay Pal to use it. And, you can use your major credit card through Pay Pal.

9) Do you collect sales tax?

8.65% sales tax will be added to your purchase total if you reside in NY State.

10) Do you share my information with others?
